This beautiful, tropical island is located south of the mainland, featuring many beautiful sights such as the ruins, the beaches, and even the temple where many summoners attempt to begin their pilgrimage. With a lovely lagoon surrounded by beautiful trees that belongs to a vast jungle with several roaring waterfalls, toward a small but lovely village, Besaid can be considered a place for those seeking peace and wanting to be one with nature.

The largest island located between the mainland and Besaid Island, Kilika Island is known for its floating settlement on water as well as its tall staircase that leads to what is considered the second temple of the pilgrimage. The jungle is quite larger and also more dense than the one on Besaid Island, so it is simple to get lost. There's a river that runs through the island and circles around the hill where the temple rests at the peak.

Luca has many attractions including its markets, inns and bars, and also the only primetime everyone looks forward to, the Blitzball stadium, which is located directly in the center of the town. Bundled with tall buildings, and large docks surrounding the bottom half of the town along with a set of stairs at the other side of town leading up to Mi'ihen Highroad, Luca attracts many people from around the world.

A long unpaved path that leads through fields of flowers and chocobos. There is an inn and a ranch nearby, and there are also ruins scattered around the place. A new temple has been built along the path among those very ruins, which is apparently causing trouble for the chocobos; none of them would go near it.

A long path where rocks shaped like mushrooms form edges and ledges here and there. There's a forked path in where one leads to a large area where one can see the ocean for miles, and another leads to the Djose area. There is also a shore that seems to have only one accessible path to it but it is littered with jagged rocks.

Few bridges, large and long, connect the path to a temple at the end, but also splits in the direction of the Moonflow, a famous river that runs through Spira. Lightning is always flashing around the temple, which is hidden by a large wall of rocks that come to float about when a summoner enters the building.

The Moonflow is the largest and considerably the most famous river in all of Spira, what with its beautiful pyreflies lurking around when night comes and its well-known shoopuf rides which the creatures swim over a sunken city that can be seen even from above the surface.

Guadosalem is a secluded village surrounded by large walls of rocks, so it could considerably be a village hidden ni caves. Rooms have been cut out of the rocks, along with a fairly large mansion that has been converted into a temple. A popular place known as the Farplane can be found here as well where the living can visit their dead loved ones.

There's always a thunderstorm here over the vast plains, so it's basically raining twenty-four hours, seven days a week, along with the dangerous risk of being shocked by lightning that can strike any moving object if not the rods that are scattered strategically through the area. There's an inn for one's safety on the way through it.

The Macalania woods is a very beautiful place to be, with its sparkling crystallized trees and its snow-filled landscape where there's a frozen lake hidden. Through the icy dunes a path can be seen in which it leads to a special destination, the Macalania Temple. There's an inn on the way through for one's convenience.

Bevelle could be considered a capital city withs it importance hanging in the atmosphere. It's the home to maesters, which are like presidents of the nation, and also the origin of the Yevon teachings. There are tall buildings stacked together and also a large maze that is used as a prison underneath the town. Not only that, Bevelle also holds one of the temples within the maze.

The largest area in all of Spira, the Calm Lands is known for it being the location where summoners of the past have stood and fought against Sin. It is also a tourist's attraction, where people from all over Spira can play games or make bets on fiends; there's also a hunter's store where you can sign up to hunt down fiends from around the world. There are also two very important places hidden among the plains.

The mountains seem to have a purpose, which is to make it difficult for one to reach Zanarkand what with its freezing temperature, and pathways and peaks covered by snow. However, there is a place the Ronso considers sacred, but upon discovery of the ruins at the peak people are now able to bathe in the hot springs within the mountains and also to visit the temple.

Once the largest city, even larger than Bevelle, Zanarkand now lies in ruins and rubble due to an attack from Sin many centuries ago. It is considered the most sacred place of all, what with it being the final spot for summoners to obtain their aeons and also being the hometown of the first summoner ever to defeat Sin. There is a large dome in where a passage would take one to a respectful temple, in where the summoner can make a choice.

A large island that seems to always have a thunderstorm above its head. However, the darkening cloud is actually that of soot and ashes, making the atmosphere of the island unbearably hot, as lava runs through the island constantly. There are volcanoes scattered around the place, but the people that live here seem to be very well adapted to the place. There's still more to learn about the island at this time.

A semi-large island of an arid desert, where it's quite easy to get lost out in the heat. However, the Al Bhed live here and thus there are scouting machina on the job. Sometimes one can be lucky to arrive at the secluded oasis or unfortunate to find themselves among the cactuars in the cactuar valley.

Most of the ruins are submerged, but not all of the buildings, even those underwater, are full of the cold liquid. However, there are dangerous fiends, some small and some large lurking around, but there is also a temple which could be found in the middle of the ruins, nearly submerged by half.

Abandoned ruins far north of the mainland, the Omega Ruins is home to various fiends, some which are very powerful. However, being that it's safely secluded and that there are reinforcements to their protection if necessary, the Hall of Summoners has been established here.

A peninsula of tiny islands surround Bikanel Island at one side apart from the mainland, known more commonly as the Sanubia Desert. Full of sand dunes the desert is a perfect place for hiding, as it has a body of water surrounding it and also there are sand dunes.
